We have been on your side of the invoice
Between us we have owned marketing budgets, carried growth targets, and had to justify both to someone who only cared about the result. That is the experience we brought to Bisque.

What in-market experience actually changes
We have run the budgets, not just advised on them
Both of us have been accountable for marketing spend and the number it was supposed to produce — not sat alongside it writing recommendations. That changes what you optimise for. When it is your budget, vanity metrics stop being interesting very quickly.
Growth is a series of tests, not a plan
Most growth comes from a handful of things that worked, found by running a lot of things that did not. We work in short cycles: pick the constraint, test the cheapest fix, keep it if the number moves, cut it if it does not. No twelve-month strategy documents.
Every engagement has one number attached
Cost per qualified enquiry. Hours saved per week. Quote turnaround time. We agree the measure before the work starts, and we report against it. If the number is not moving, we say so — and we would rather tell you in week three than month six.
Time saved is a result, not a by-product
Winning more work is one goal. Getting your week back is another, and for a lot of owner-operators it is the more urgent one. If quoting eats ten hours a week, automating it is worth the revenue those hours could have earned — and it is faster and more certain than chasing new demand. We are happy for the target to be hours rather than pounds, as long as we agree it up front and measure it honestly.
Being straight about it
What we are not
We are not a retainer mill
We do not sell hours or deliverables. If a system is built and working, the retainer should get smaller, not larger.
We are not a reporting service
Dashboards are not the product. The product is a change in a number you care about, and you should be able to see it without a dashboard.
We will tell you when the answer is no
If your constraint is pricing, or delivery capacity, or the offer itself, no amount of marketing or automation fixes it. We will say that on the first call.
Getting in touch
We work with growing businesses across the UK. Initial conversations are direct: we will ask what you are spending, what it is producing, and which jobs are eating the most time.
If we can move the number, we will tell you how. If we cannot — or if the problem is not one we solve — we will tell you that too.
